iPod Touch and iPod Nano - 4 inch screen, 40-hour battery, Siri and headphones EarPod

Apple has released the new generation of iPod Touch and iPod Nano with significant improvements compared with previous models.

New iPhone 5 was a star at Apple event, but the American manufacturer has not neglected iPod players who made history in the early 2000.

 iPod Touch - 4 inch screen

 The most important in this range is undoubtedly the iPod Touch, which uses a diagonal screen Retina Display 4 "16:9, identical to that of the iPhone 5. But it was wrapped in a thick 6.1 casing and weighs only 88 grams.

One of the best news is significantly improved autonomy up to 40 hours, so now you can play music
continuously for almost two days without having to charge the battery.

A second interesting news is introducing the new headphone baptized EarPods, which Apple claims it offers better sound quality and better protection against water and perspiration.

In terms of hardware, the new iPod Touch is using the iPhone 4 A5 processor and 5 MP camera called iSight, like the iPhone 5, while the front camera enables FaceTime video calls in HD 720p.

Connectivity is provided by Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/ g/n and Bluetooth 4.0 are supported, Siri voice assistant has been implemented on this gadget.

The new iPod Touch will be available from October in a range of six colors, from traditional black and white adding the first versions in blue, yellow, pink, silver and so-called color slate.

The market prices will be 299 USD for the 32 GB version and 399 USD for the 64 GB version.

iPod nano - 2.5 inch screen

Finally, Apple has made significant changes for the youngest iPod, that is iPod nano. It now has a multi-touch screen with a diagonal of 2.5 "and a spartan menu with six icons on the main screen grouped by two columns and three rows.

The new nano includes a home button and more buttons on the side to control the volume, to pause or change the track.

The new nano has a range up to 30 hours, and the battery is charged via the new connector Lightning, available on the iPhone 5 and the new iPod Touch.The new Ipod nano include a Bluetooth for wireless headphones music  listening or FM radio, plus a host of fitness apps like Nike +. As expected, in the package are available the new headphones EarPod. Separately, the new EarPod headphones costs 29 USD.

iPod nano will be available in 16 GB version and in a variety of seven colors for a price of 149 USD.
